Development of digital solutions to integrate environmental and sustainability values into agricultural and livestock production and agribusiness.

Solutions are sought to improve existing wastewater, saltwater and brackish water treatment systems, reducing treatment costs, especially energy costs, and minimising environmental impacts.

The scarcity of water for application in the agri-food chain or industry makes it advisable to work on water recovery processes both from wastewater treatment plants and from seawater or brackish water from aquifers.

The technologies used for these purposes currently have certain limitations. Among them, the most relevant is the cost of treatment, which makes the resource excessively expensive, as well as the environmental impact of the purification procedures.
