The Interreg Hub Iberia Agrotech (HIBA) project is a Spanish-Portuguese initiative with a budget of €5.3 million, 75% co-financed, for the creation of a multi-regional ecosystem aimed at the digitalisation of the agri-food sector through DIHs. HIBA will link different actors, including several DIHs in Spain and Portugal, strengthening the connection of local agri-food innovation ecosystems.
Coordinated by the Regional Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, Water and Rural Development through Andalucía Agrotech DIH, this initiative will create testing and experimentation services for technologies related to earth observation, robotics, the Internet of Things and Artificial Intelligence, and will develop training itineraries in digital transformation and entrepreneurship for vocational training, universities and the general public.
