HIBA+ is a project aimed at consolidating the achievements and experiences of the network created in Hub Iberia Agrotech (HIBA), a multi-regional ecosystem aimed at the digitisation of the agri-food sector through DIHs. It is a Spanish-Portuguese initiative with a budget of almost 2.9 million euros, integrating different actors, including several EDIHs from Spain and Portugal, and aimed at strengthening the connection of local agri-food innovation ecosystems.
Coordinated by the Regional Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, Water and Rural Development through Andalucía Agrotech DIH, this initiative focuses on implementing testing and experimentation services for technologies related to earth observation, robotics, the Internet of Things or Artificial Intelligence, as well as developing training itineraries in digital transformation and entrepreneurship for vocational training, universities and the general public.
